I would recommend that you take a look at this site http://gw.gamewikis.org/wiki/Domain_of_Anguish it has plenty to tell you about that area.

The point is to complete all foure areas, City, Veil, Gloom, Foundry then to go to the citadel and pwn Mallyx. And As reward for overcoming the dangers the area offers some rare, perfect or unique weapons (Tormented weapons and Stygian weapons), and new armor for heroes. Hope this helps...

It all depends on what you are trying to do

City is about an hour
Veil is about 2 hours max
Gloom is 30 mins
Foundry is about 2 to 2 and a half hours

Although I have seen people do all four areas at once in 3 and a half hours so it just depends on the group really.

What server are you on? What Time do you get on at? Vent or Ts is good for those places as it saves time from tying as well, if you dont have it, I recommend that you download it, but that IMO.

This is for groups who know what they are doing. Many times I've seen groups clueless after they finish the 1st part of foundry in an hour and take 2.5 hours for the 2nd part simply because they don't hold aggro well.

And as the OP is clueless about DOA any group he joins will probably take longer.

I would say:
City: 1 hour - 2.5 hours
Veil: 1.5 hours - 2.5 hours (least difference between exp groups and beginners)
gloom: 30 mins - 2.5 hours (some shortcuts exist, but takes group coordination to make use of them)
foundry: 2 hours - 4 hours

Download the ts2 and ventrillo clients anyway. If you don't have a mic you can still listen.

It isn't essential, but some groups only take pugs who can listen to them on teamspeak or ventrillo, just to make sure they don't get idiots.
